SIRI the brain child of Uddandam Pullaiah Swamy, B.A., from V.R.S. & Y.R.N. College from Chirala and BFA from JNA & FA University, Hyderabad was established in 1994. “The first time I saw SIRI Institute, I couldn't pull myself away. Very inspiring and the pictures are wonderful. I enjoy them tremendously and sometimes they are just what I need to get me feeling better or to get my thinking back on the right track. Those art works display, a variety of subject matter in an expressive style, all done in a top-notch technique. Sir, I enjoy looking at all art works and your styles are at the top of my list. Result of it, I joined in the institute and repeated course four times. Your considerable efforts to bring the love of art and a spiritual side of life to us via your talents are highlights. Teachers are excellent, very talented and bringing out the ideas of a student into beautiful art to fulfil the zeal of even a kid.art. I strongly recommend I have been spending a lot of time in room and it brings me such joy and peace in this creative dynamic environment. I am grateful for your various art programs, exhibitions to encourage and improve skills which make it possible for me to own this and come into limelight.” — Jaya Raghunath
“ Since my school days I was very much interested in drawing and painting.I wanted to learn painting as a hobby but was not able to. The only Institutes that were existing were ,four year courses,on full time basis , for pursuing Art as a profession . There were no Institutes, as such, offering training in painting and drawing to pursue it as hobby . In the beginning of 2001 , I came across a news item in Deccan Chronicle , that SIRI Institute was conducting classes for those interested in oil painting. Immediately I went to the SIRI Institute and met Mr Swamy. I told him that I am 65 years old and wether I can join the institute as student. I was pleasantly surprised when he said yes. I was further told that the institute offers training for two hours a day any time between 9 am and 7pm. The student is to choose the time according to his convenience . I immediately joined the institute . I enjoyed attending the classes . I received personal attention, like all other students ,in learning the basics of painting. Soon I was comfortable in painting and started participating in painting exhibitions with the help and guidance of SIRI. The great advantages of SIRI are , 1)It is run by Leading artist Shri Swamy 2)It has flexible timings ,to be chosen by the student, according to his convenience. 3)The student receives personal attention and guidance from faculty members . Even Shri Swamy, despite his busy schedule, is easily available to the students for any help. 3)The students are eligible to become members of SAWA which ,conducts work shops ,helps and guides them in partcipating in various art exhibitions. In view of the above persons, interested in painting ,are joining SIRI, irrespective of their age, both ladies and gents ,retired persons, house wives , college students and number of others ,engaged in other profession. Personally I have been greatly benifitted. To me ,painting was childhood dream which came true because of SIRI. To day I am able to keep myself busily engaged, in my retired life ,doing paintings and drawings . Due to guidence of SAWA,I was also able to participate in a few art exhibitions which is dream of all artists .” — VIJAYENDER Rao.

“ I had lot of interest to do drawing since my childhood and used to do by seeing the images /scenaries. But, I always used to feel that I'm missing something and need to learn professional skills & techniques in painting. I'm very fortunate that I came to know about "Siri Painting Institute". Without any further delay, I have joined, for the Senior painting course. I have learned excellent painting techniques & skills under the able guidance of Smt.Jaya Madam & Sri Swami Sir. The learning environment in the institute is excellent. They take care that students learn perfectly, and ready to help students even after completing the course. They are not only good teacher's but also very good Human beings. Most happiest moment for me is that I have received an order for a portrait painting, when I shown the paintings that I have done at "Siri". I thank Swamy Sir for helping me to get it perfect. Now, I get very good appreciations for all my painting works. Once, again I thank "Siri Painting Institute". I can say that it is the Best Institute for learning Painting. — Girija
“ Siri Institute of Painting is THE DESTINATION for those who aspire to create on paper and canvas visual forms in colours beyond imagination. It is a must-go-to-place for aspiring artists and would-be Picassos wishing to give fluid brush strokes worthy of the Masters of the Art. — LS Singh
“ SIRI institute of painting has its name and popularity in and around Hyderabad. Swamy sir thought me how to put emotion into the artwork and bring a perfect look to the final art piece. The guidance that I received from Smt. Jaya madam helped me in composing a painting or drawing using different techniques. Their guidance in art is parental for the students who feel homely while undergoing training. Their expertise in drawing and painting is so high that I find no words to explain which can only be felt by the students while learning the art. The appreciations I receive for my artworks are dedicated to my guru. “SIRI” SRI GURU BHYO NAMAHA... — Jayanth
“ It is a great privilege for me to associate with SIRI Institute of Painting since 2010,the year in which I joined my younger daughter for learning painting in it. Even earlier too, as a regular customer of Om Travels, Himayatnagar which was also in the same building where SIRI was housed,I used to pass by it looking passionately at the painting work being done in it .My inability ,on account of employment at that time to join in it for pursuing painting ,my childhood dream used to prick me a lot .So when my daughter wanted to learn painting,I did not hesitate even a minute to join her in the SIRI Institute.I too became a student of the Institute immediately after retirement from service in Indian Railways. The dedication with which Smt & Sri Swamy bestow towards development of their students in making them good artists is quite impressive and exemplary. It is not exaggerating to say they run the SIRI Institute with highest professionalism and service motto without any business mind , giving priority to bring more and more artists under their able guidance. The very fact that they do not go by rigid fee structure and students belong to 12 to 80 years of age testifies the same. The dedicated and highly qualified faculty of the Institute make the students learn all the techniques with lot of patience and make them good artists. My personal association with the Institute for more than eight years made me realize that once a student joins here, he feels as if joined in an extended family .Even after the course, no one wants to lose the contact with the Institute and Sir & Madam. Even those go elsewhere, abroad etc.return back to its fold once they come back to Hyderabad. The SIRI Artists Welfare Association (SAWA) formed by the artists ,the products of the Institute is the glowing example of the attachment of the students towards their Institute . The artists of SIRI keep in touch with the Institute and co-artists through social media and internet and explore new areas in the field of painting. The periodical art exhibitions, art camps, education tours etc are greatly successful and enjoyed as family activities. It is a great matter of pride to the Institute and Swamy Sir & Madam that many artists who were trained under them here are now , they themselves established prestigious institutions in the Twin Cities and elsewhere in the country and earning fame and prestige. — Ramakrishnamacharulu
